It doesn’t matter if the missing item is brightly colored or glittery. If there is anything we have learned from this is that almost anything can get lost if placed against the correct background.

Perfect for Buffets

It might take you a couple of seconds to figure out what’s going on in this picture. But it’s well- worth it. When going to buffets, this guy often wears this shirt. It does a good job at hiding him if he has to take an emergency toilet break. With a long queue in the men’s room, he finds a quiet nook in the flowerbed to do his business in peace and unnoticed, and no, we do not advise doing this, people!.

Marbled Cat

Every guest has complained of the same thing at least once in their stay at this house. Ouch, they grab their shin or the flesh of their legs. Just what in the devil was that? They see something dash from the corner of their eyes, then turn to look at the set of scratches running down the length of their leg. Out of nowhere, the host comes out carrying a tray of drinks. He calmly explains it’s the house cat. You probably stepped on it.

To be fair, we would have probably done so too. Unlike other cats, this one has white fur with streaks of onyx black. Pair that with the classic household tiles, and you’re prone to hostile treatment. Nowadays, NooaJ just locks the cat out of the kitchen. It’s only until the guests are staying at the house, which doesn’t last that long for the most part due to the phantom scratches. Win-win situation for everyone!

Someone Needs a Break

This looks like a scene out of your local college. Students are hunched over books or slumped before their laptop screens. Some furiously type at the keyboard, determined to make the best of their notes. Their desks are lined with highlighters and a Venti cup of coffee.

Barely functioning from lack of sleep, Reddit user Jimfancypants tried to grab the coffee mug he brought to class. It was like his eyes were playing tricks on him. This Reddit user’s living room is the stuff of couch potatos’ dreams. It houses a minimalist Beovision-103, digital surround system, and loads of ports to plug your charges into. There was one small glitch. He almost always couldn’t find his remote.

Many friends had told him that he shouldn’t place his remote here. Not being one to listen, he would lay the control atop the charging area and then grab a snack. After heading back to the couch, he would struggle to find the remote. He runs his hand through his hair. This bad habit is hard to break.

Can Someone Get That Fixed?

Reddit user Atham Athul felt like fixing himself a sandwich. He went to the refrigerator, got the mayo and bread, and then placed it all atop the counter. He slathers a load of dressing on the ham and then smacks a slice of white bread for the perfect seal. He takes a bite. He lifts his eyes to see that someone had punched through the rungs of the dining chair before him.

Then the darkness blinked. Readjusting his vision, he cranes closer. Just what was that? He makes out his cat’s whiskers and realizes that his cat had been staring at the 4-inch thick sandwich wedged between his fingers. He tore off a chunk and waved it before his cat. Want some of this?

It’s a sunny day outside, and a few people are roaming the immaculately-manicured lawn. Birds are chirping in the distance, and they woo the guests who stop to take selfies. This man had been struggling to keep his eyes open. The 14-hour flight had been rough, and landing in a foreign land at daybreak hadn’t helped one bit. He had always struggled with jet lag. He wouldn’t have drunk the coffee if he could. But seeing that there was work to be done, he lifted the mug to his lips and drank the caffeine down.

How do you pass the time on the train? Most swipe left (occasionally right), others read a paperback book, many listen to music, while a number turn to observe the surroundings. This lady found it more peaceful to observe people on trains than it was to spend time on the phone. But the minute this guy sat down before her, she knew she had to take a picture of him. She scrambled for her phone.

Even before this fur dad takes a seat on his gaming chair, he knows he has lost the game. He pushes the chair and sees that his fur ball was snoozing on it. He couldn’t wake it up; it looked too precious. But there had been instances where he had nearly squeezed it into pulp.

Enjoying Pools of Himself

Who’s The Merman?

This group of friends thought it would be nice to spend the afternoon on the beach. They wore light clothing, put on their sunglasses, and kicked at the stony pebbles on their way to the seashore. The view was breathtaking. The sea reflected dark depths of blue out of which this merman sprung from.

Management must have thought these fixtures would go well in the guest bathroom. They thought wrong. They received many complaints from customers claiming that there hadn’t been a roll of tissue in sight. To be fair, it was difficult to see the wad of tissue hiding in the corner.

It didn’t help that this box design mirrored the cream walls and the coffee-ground sink top. After washing their hands, guests would vigorously shake their hands, annoyed that they couldn’t wipe them dry. Could it be management’s ingenious way to reduce paper waste?

To Make Matters Worse

What is it like to be nearly blind? We should ask this office geek who had been prescribed with 20/200. He had been having a migraine at the Excel sheet before him. He removed his glasses and rubbed at the temples with his other hand. He felt someone grip his shoulders and heard a slew of papers land on his desk. He had forgotten he was holding on to his pair of eyes. It fell by the cables beneath his desk.

Now, if you had some trouble finding the pair of glasses, imagine how much trouble it had been for him to locate them. Fortunately, all the ports were taken, so he could pat at the carpeted floor and feel for the plastic handles of his glasses. Guess he should consider getting contact lenses.

Dressed for the Occasion

When going to an event, it’s important to consider your attire. You wouldn’t want to look too shabby, but you wouldn’t want to come overdressed. When this man had come to a book club event, he knew that a pair of jeans and a polo shirt would cut it. You bet it had. He was dressed for the occasion.

His polo shirt had been the same design as the seat covers. He had tried to feign indifference, but you could tell that he had been edgy. He looked for his friend to divert his attention, but his friend was off scribbling his name on a list. Luckily, the event started, and he hadn’t any need to worry about anyone noticing the faux pas.

Woof Woof Whimper

Like us, this furball has a favorite spot in the living room. He loves to lay in front of the telly, with the remote, his favorite snack, in his mouth. Once you see the channels switch from the Animal channel to MTV, it’s almost always this furball handling the controls.

Once, he had muted the telly. Mum couldn’t tell that it was on with the ton of laundry blocking her view. She needed to place it down somewhere. Mum nearly stepped on this furball who had lazily stretched himself on the floor. You can just imagine how this dog would react – a pained whimper in between scuffles and barks.
