Wouldn’t you be appalled to know that the golden age celebrities who you thought were long gone are actually still rocking? The Golden era holds a special place in our hearts because it gave us many superstars and hit films to cherish for a lifetime. And the most amazing part is some of those legends are still solid as a rock and continue to fill their bank accounts with a high credit score.

While some of them didn’t care about their wrinkled face, some tried to retain their youth using cosmetic surgeries and artificial skin & face care and had to face the trouble that came with it. You won’t believe which golden age actor has successfully cheated his death by escaping many life-threatening situations. See what age did to our favorite golden age stars!

Joe Pesci – Age 80

Joe Pesci is an American singer, comedian, and actor who is recognized for his stellar acting performances and character delivery, especially for the volatile roles that occurred in a range of genres.

In 1992’s My Cousin Vinny, Pesci delivered the role of ‘Vincent Gambini’ with expert execution and he went on to later make it big with his acting on Home Alone as well as in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, playing the character ‘Harry Lime’ in both. The year 1999 marked Pesci’s retirement from the film industry, yet he is set to make an appearance in 2019 on the Irishman.

Linda Kozlowski – Age 65

Linda Kozlowski received almost as much attention for her marriage -and divorce- from Paul Hogan as she did for co-starring with him in Crocodile Dundee as Sue Charlton; maybe even more attention actually. The couple enjoyed 23 years of marriage before mutually deciding that it had run its course and that it was time to move on.

The divorce was entirely amicable, they claim. Kozlowski is currently happy with her independence and is excited about new business ventures. She quit acting in 2001 after the movie Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles, stating that she was tired of the industry.

Barbara Eden -Age 91

Remember this gorgeous old lady? Barbara is best known for her role in A Dream of Jeannie. She is an American singer, film and TV actress. Her role in this movie will definitely make you fall in love with her. Some of her other credits include the series Burke’s Law, The Brass Bottle as well as Harper Valley P.T.A.

John Astin is most definitely being haunted by his famous role as Gomez Addams on The Addams Family. John is an American actor and had numerous roles in different films and TV shows. He is also known as one of the best comedians in the Hollywood history.

As it is natural, he has slowly stopped acting as much, and after a long break, that lasted for over a decade, John took up a project in 2018, when he voiced the character of Uncle Dudley for an episode of Justice League Action.

Ann Blyth – Age 94

Whether it was Musical or gospel songs, Ann proved her might in every genre. With an illustrious career in music and five Golden Globe Awards, Ann has amassed a net worth of approximately $20 million. June Lockhart – Age 97

Lockhart became a star during the ‘50s and ‘60s after her striking performance in TV series Lost in Space and Lassie, while her performance on the Broadway also earned her a Tony Award. Although she ended up paying heavy fees to her divorce attorney twice in her life, she still has a whopping amount of $10 million saved up in her bank account.

Dick Van Dyke is a famous American actor, comedian, and dancer. His net worth is as high as $50 million. He started his career with the films Bye Bye Birdie and Mary Poppins and then he quickly became a star. He is also still known as one of the funniest people of all time.

Mel Brooke is a famous American film director, composer, actor, comedian, and songwriter with a current estimated net worth around $80 million. He is best known for his comic parodies. He started his career as a comic and a writer for the TV series Your show of shows. His famous films are The Producers, Blazing Saddles, The Twelve Chairs and many more.

The list will surely be incomplete without including the name of the legendary actress Leslie Caron. With a career spanning over 52 years, Leslie displayed her acting skills in more than 45 films. Movies like Daddy Long Legs, Fanny, Father Goose, An American in Paris and The L-Shaped Room became the reason for her stardom.

Clint Eastwood – Age 92

Some of Clint Eastwood’s greatest movies we had the pleasure of watching includes Million Dollar Baby, Dirty Harry and Man With No Name. He is most remembered for the way he delivers his dialogues—talking through clenched teeth, with a cigar casually placed between his lips.

He created a style all his own and was an icon of raw male masculinity. His most recent involvement is in the remake of A Star is Born starring Lady Gaga. Hats off to Clint for staying out of rehab, too (can’t say the same for his wife, though)!

Shirley MacLaine – Age 89

Aside from being Warren Beatty’s sister, you may know Shirley Maclaine from her role in Terms of Endearment, Some Came Running, or The Apartment. The film, television and theater actress’ acting skills have certainly been highly acclaimed. She married once but filed for divorce in 1982.

She looks fabulous for her age and we just have to keep guessing how her skin looks so youthful and beautiful in spite of her years! Shirley has always been one of those people that like to keep busy, and her last project was in 2018 when she voiced the role of Grandmother in The Little Mermaid movie.

Warren Beatty – Age 86

Warren Beatty is an acclaimed actor and filmmaker, nominated for his works as a director, writer, producer, and actor. For Heaven Can Wait and Reds, he won an Academy Award. His other hits include Shampoo, Bonnie and Clyde and Dick Tracy. He is in fabulous health, and his reputation as a ladies’ man hasn’t died down with age!

Glynis Johns – Age 99

Glynis Johns appeared in various films in a range of genres, with Broadway shows adding to her increasing popularity. A Little Night Music actually had a song written exclusively for Glynis, who co-starred with Stephen Sondheim for the movie. She was also well-received for her performance in The Sundowners, as well as in Mary Poppins.

She was nominated for an Academy Award. Currently, her life is far less exciting as she has settled down to lead a peaceful life in retirement, with her last TV credit being back in 1999. She did, however, participate in the 2008’s documentary called The Age of Believing: The Disney Live Action Classics.

Terry Kilburn – Age 96

Terence E. Kilburn emigrated to the U.S. from London when he was a young boy. He quickly took up an acting career and landed an opportunity to play ‘Tiny Tim’ in the cinematic adaptation of A Christmas Carol. He acted in both TV and in films through the ‘30s and ‘40s and then ventured to Broadway as Terence Kilburn.

Eventually, he was appointed as head of the Michigan Theatre. His last appearance on the TV screen was in a 1969 episode of the Get Smart show. After such a full life, he must have welcomed retirement with open arms!

Cora Sue Collins – Age 96

Cora Sue Collins began her acting career as a child and starred in a number of motion pictures. She took hold of the hearts of many with her performances in Queen Christina, The Scarlet Letter, and Anna Karenina. Once she reached adulthood, though, she placed aside her acting career and made way for her dedication in being a housewife.

Peggy Dow – Age 95

This gorgeous lady is Peggy Dow. She was actually handpicked by a talent agent, and then cast in a TV show. She showcased her acting talent and was then offered a seven-year contract by Universal. She appeared in a great number of TV shows and films afterward. One film that she had received particular acclaim for was Bright Victory.

In 1951, Dow went on to marry an oil baron, Walter Helmerich III, within three years following her retirement announcement. Even though her husband died in 2012, she had since shifted her interest into being a humanitarian.

Nancy Olson – Age 94

Battle Cry and Sunset Boulevard are films that are part of Nancy Ann Olson’s acting portfolio that exhibit her acting talents, helping her carve her own show business niche. She then appeared in Disney films, pairing up with Fred MacMurray in the productions.

Viewers were wild about it and the films received rave reviews. Nancy then made the switch to Broadway! She has mostly left her career aside, but now and then makes an appearance or two, often uncredited. Her last film credit was in 2014 with the movie Dumbbells.

Darryl Hickman – Age 91

When Darryl Hickman was a kid, he entered a contract with Paramount and was cast in The Prisoner of Zenda in 1937. Bing Crosby was exceedingly impressed by young Darryl’s performance at a later audition that he landed multiple roles! He went on to forge a career in production and scriptwriting, too.

In Darryl’s opinion, today’s actors lack mentoring and ambition. He is a rather handsome man, with a full head of hair in spite of his age! However, he stopped acting since The Nanny show in the late 90s, but he’s expected to appear in the documentary called What Ever Happened to Norma Jeane?

Margaret O’Brien – Age 86

Margaret O’Brien’s career began earlier than typical of stars in her day. She found fame when she was cast in Journey of Margaret. It is for that reason that she is better known as Margaret O’Brien, while actually born Angela Maxine O’Brien.

She did several other films and some TV shows as her career progressed. Interestingly, her Academy Award trophy was stolen from her when she was 17. But she found it fifty years later! We think that only an exceptional fitness routine could have kept her looking as good as she does.

Whether it is the Italian Job, Alfie or The Dark Knight- no one could have guided the batman better- Michael Caine has been phenomenal in every role he has ever played. With a hefty amount of $78 million in his account, the legendary star has nothing to worry about when, if ever, he finally decides to hang up his boots!

An actress whose career has spanned over six decades, Gena Rowlands is certainly one of Hollywood’s finest of all times. Her top-grossing films like the movies Opening Night and Gloria are still remembered by fans today. Her later role in The Notebook, where she plays the older version of Rachel Mcadams character, was absolutely stunning.

The legendary Donald Sutherland is another of the industry’s great. With a career spanning more than five decades, Sutherland has appeared in a plethora of movies. Some of his best works include The Dirty Dozen, A Time To Kill, Italian Job and The Hunger Games film series.

Another household name who needs no introduction, Anthony Hopkins is certainly one of a kind. His jaw-dropping performances in movies like Silence Of The Lambs, Hannibal and recently in TV series Westworld make him one of the best actors of all times. We just hope he finds solace in retirement, putting all the controversy, surrounding his family, behind him! His next project is writing and directing the movie A Rainy Day in New York which is expected to be released in 2019, starring Elle Fanning.

Dame Joan Henrietta Collins is known as ‘she’s so bad it’s good’ Alex Colby on Dynasty in the 1980s; a role which earned her a Golden Globe Award. She’s an English actress who grew up during World War II and she has been keeping pretty good health at age 85.

Kathleen Hughes – Age 94

Va-va-voom Kathleen Hughes started acting in 1948 with her signing a seven-year contract with 20th Century Fox. Remember the 50s sci-fi cult movie It Came From Outer Space? Hughes portrayed the character, Jane. Before announcing her retirement in 1998, Kathleen appeared in numerous films especially in the 50s including The Glass Web, Dawn at Socorro, and The Golden Blade.
