Where’s A Manager When You Need One? People Who Had to Vent

When you spend your hard-earned cash on something, you want to make sure you get exactly what you had wanted in the first place. So what happens when what you purchase doesn’t live up to your expectations? Well, you’d want to be refunded in full, of course. False advertising plays a huge role in why most people feel let down when they see the actual product. These people seriously deserve compensation in full. They deserve to ask for the manager and get a refund; after all, they received products or services that were unacceptable, to say the least. We certainly wouldn’t be satisfied if we had received any of the items on our list. When you purchase something, and it’s not up to scratch, it’s time to stand up and complain. These people should have done just that.

Where’s Your Helmet, Kid?

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why you need to wear a helmet. Sure, it isn’t his fault the wheel suddenly decided to detach itself from the rest of his bike, but it is his fault for not protecting his head when his bike decided to give a whole new meaning to the term “wheelie”.

Regardless, we would advise them to take that bike back to the shop (along with the hospital bills) to get a full refund for poor workmanship. They should have ensured that the bike was assembled correctly, and all the bolts and nuts were tight before letting it leave the store. We hope the kid didn’t hurt himself too badly.

Did They Use An Axe?

Getting a haircut is always slightly nerve-wracking, especially if you visit a new salon. You’re entrusting your glorious locks to someone who may not even have the necessary skills to do the job correctly, let alone understand what you want to be done in the first place.

Well, this poor girl probably asked her hairdresser to add some layers to her hair to give it more body, and instead, she left looking like she had gotten into a fight with an ax-wielding maniac. We can only hope it grew out reasonably fast and didn’t give her a hairstylist phobia for life.

Deckchairs For Dolls

Deck chairs are awesome. You get to lounge around and get a tan while sipping on some lemonade. Deck chairs just scream summer vacation and poolside living. So this woman jumped at the chance to buy a couple for her holiday home.

Sadly for her, the listing for these chairs didn’t quite state that they were dollhouse size and that the only person who could laze around in one would be Barbie. Yikes! We hope that she managed to get her money back.

Online Order Gone Wrong

We don’t understand. What is it with an online store not stating whether an item is for a dollhouse or an actual house? A good idea would be to clearly say the dimensions of all items in big, bold letters. This poor guy just wanted a rug for his bedroom, and well, he got a nice little carpet, alright!

Sure, maybe he didn’t read the small print of the ad carefully enough, but no one would believe that a miniature rug could actually be sold for the same price as a full-sized carpet! We don’t blame him; we don’t always read the entire thing either!

They Let It Go

The animated Disney film Frozen won the hearts of children all over the globe. The hit song “Let It Go” skyrocketed to fame and tortured parents everywhere by being played over and over again by their kids. This particular child is a massive fan of Elsa and wanted an Elsa cake for her birthday.

But what arrived from the baker was what Elsa would’ve looked like if she had been hit by a truck and then put back together by Frankenstein. This cake would be enough to give the little girl nightmares for weeks and is worthy of a refund in full, plus extra compensation for trauma caused.

Free Size? More Like Free Lies

Let’s be honest and say that the whole One Size Fits All thing just doesn’t work in reality, People come in all shapes and sizes, and it’s silly to think that the same size of clothing would suit anyone who put it on.

This poor girl got duped into buying a jumpsuit, which promised that it would fit her body type, but, as we can plainly see, that wasn’t entirely true. It looks like something that was shrunk in the laundry! She should get a gift card for this fashion fiasco.

You Had One Job

Let’s review the reasons why people need to carry umbrellas. They keep the sun from scorching us or the rain from drenching us. It’s a pretty simple concept really and one which companies everywhere have monetized. So what do we assume we will get when buying one? The top part that protects from the elements, of course.

Sadly, this particular umbrella decided to have a Mary Poppins moment and take off during a downpour, leaving its owner altogether drenched through. Gosh, we really do hope he kept the receipt so he could return it to the store.

Surprise Me Not

Planning a party is fun. But planning a surprise party is even more fun! The excitement of sneaking around preparing stuff and waiting for the day of the party is exciting. So when this girl wanted to plan a celebration for her mom, whom she lived with, she stated clearly in the delivery instructions that she wanted the box of supplies to be inconspicuous.

How did we know she filled the supplier in on her plan? Because the seller decided to print and attach the delivery instructions to the outside of the package! Clearly, subtlety is not their game. We hope she rang them up and gave them an earful.

Cabi-not

We can only wonder what the item specs listed on the website said that led this person to be tempted to purchase this. We would assume it was marketed as an ordinary cabinet and priced at the same price at a full-sized cabinet. That, frankly, makes no sense to us at all.

We can only hope that they got hold of the seller and told him that his item listings left much to be desired — such as the need for dimensions and a proper description. Oh, if we could read the reviews on this product!

Deconstructed Salad

We live in an era of restaurants playing around with their menus in the hope of changing things up. Deconstructed food has become a trendy thing to offer patrons. Sure, that’s all good and well, until you have to DIY your Caesar salad.

Seriously, this looks just about the most unappetizing thing we have ever seen served on a plate. This dish is a perfect reason for calling over the manager to complain, we hope that they got a free burger, and a dessert to make up for this lazy attempt.

Flash Back Pizza

Oh no! This image brings back a lot of sad memories for people everywhere who were eagerly waiting for their pizza delivery, only to see the driver take it out of the bag and then unceremoniously drop it down the stairs. SIDEWAYS!

Well, if you have been one of the lucky few who has never had that happen to you, then you will not understand the level of disappointment you feel when the box gets opened, and your pizza topping is everywhere but on your pizza.

Not So Yeezy

As we have established, shopping online is never a sure thing and comes with a level of risk. So when this guy decided to spring for some new kicks, he decided to get some Adidas Yeezys. Sadly, what came can only be described as something Mickey Mouse would wear to a Disneyland Sporting Event.

Is it just us, or do they make his feet look ridiculously small and out of proportion? We would be sending these bad boys back priority mail so fast you wouldn’t have time to say, “Welcome to the happiest place on earth!”

Are These Pants For Ants!?

Spandex usually is not too problematic to buy online, as it’s super stretchy. So all you need to do is buy according to your size or one size up to be extra safe, and technically, you should be good to go! But this seller has a whole different way of thinking.

This guy ordered spandex workout pants, but that was not what he received. He wasn’t even able to get his big toe through the item that was delivered. When they said one size fits all, then this time, they were definitely lying!

They’ve Taken Hipster A Tad Too Far

Quirky serving ideas are the rage, and people pay good money to eat at themed restaurants. But some lines shouldn’t be crossed. Food should never be served on anything related to picking up trash. Just looking at this grosses us out and makes us want to call the health department ASAP.

Unless their food tastes like rubbish, then we get the reference. But no, the whole hipster café thing has taken it too far when they start serving their food in dustpans. It doesn’t do much to stimulate the appetite. How very exciting *slow clap* *eye roll*

Permanent Typo

This image is so cringe-worthy that it’s laughable. The tattoo artist must have been on some heavy-duty meds when he gave this poor person this ink! Either that, or the person getting the tattoo scribbled this nonsense down while he was on some heavy-duty medication.

Either way, there are two things wrong here. First of all, Bon Jovi would be slightly insulted, and secondly, shouldn’t all tattoos be proofed for mistakes before being permanently inked on someone’s skin? Especially when they are quotes! It’s not like they can be changed afterward.

iPhone Fusion

If you thought buying clothes and furniture online was dangerous, getting gadgets is even worse! This girl thought that she had paid for an iPhone 7 but instead ended up getting some twisted outdated version that we can’t even understand from the photo.

It’s not clear if she received an iPhone 3 and iPhone 4 or an iPhone 3 in the box of an iPhone 4, or vise versa, but what is clear is that there is no iPhone 7 in sight! Talk about confusing and aggravating.

Prom, Interrupted

Ah, prom. It’s a day most girls dream of (besides their wedding day or the day they start an empire). So ordering the perfect prom dress is something that young girls spend hours obsessing over. They talk about it, get opinions from their friends, and look at many different sites before finally clicking on “Add to Cart”.

This dress looks stunning in the ad, and our unfortunate victim was beyond excited to think that this dress would get her crowned prom queen. But when her “dream” dress arrived, it turned into a nightmare, and she knew that the crown would never be hers.

Flowers? Here’s Onions Instead

Everyone loves getting flowers; they are the symbol of spring and are sure to brighten anyone’s day. They show us that life is blooming and hope is on its way. At least, that’s what this lady believed when she ordered a bouquet of spring flowers.

The florist, (actually, we hope it’s not a florist) ran out of flowers and opted to switch the requested item to something else spring- related: spring onions. Because who doesn’t love a bouquet of delightful scallions sitting on their table as a centerpiece?

McSad Bun

Here is another sad example of fast food going very wrong. This person thought they were going to sink their teeth into a yummy McRib only to realize that the rib part was left out of the sandwich. Yes, there was bread, and yes, there was sauce, but no, there was no meat.

McDonald’s is a chain known for its quick order fulfillment, fast delivery, and for all things meat, so it’s hard to understand what happened in the production line that someone forgot to add the main ingredient of the sandwich. Maybe the rib guy was taking a break when the order came in?

Ham Oh No Sandwich

This image is painful for all the sandwich lovers out there and does nothing to restore our trust in humanity. How could anyone with an ounce of decency put that small amount of filling in a sandwich? Bah! It’s not even a meal.

The unfortunate soul or whoever paid hard-earned money for this poor excuse of a sandwich had better have demanded more than just a refund! We would hope that he called the manager to get a full explanation for this crime against food.

Where The Nuggets At?

McDonald’s nuggets are supposed to be some of the best chicken nuggets in the world, so it is alarming that this person only ordered four pieces in the first place. C’mon, we all want the jumbo box. But that isn’t even the point of this photo. He ordered nuggets, but for some odd reason, the person who packed his food-filled the box with tartar sauce.

Tartar sauce isn’t even served with nuggets. The two just don’t make for a tasty combination of flavors at all. Hopefully, he had not driven all the way home before finding out that not only didn’t he get any nuggets, but that he had only received a box of bad sauce.

Jeans Made For A Giraffe

Jeans are just about the best thing to have ever been invented. We all love them, and the fact that they come in different styles, colors, brands, and lengths make us love them even more. The point is that there is a pair to suit everyone.

When this lady bought a pair of jeans, we are sure she specified the needed length, and was expecting them to arrive as ordered. But what came in the mail could only be described as a pair of jeans that were tailored to fit a very stylish giraffe.

Sexy Back

Online shopping is fun! It’s cheaper, and you don’t even have to get out of your pajamas to do it. However, it can be risky, especially with clothes. How many times have you bought a shirt that says adult size Large, and when it arrives, it seems only to fit a 12-year-old? 

When this guy ordered a basic tank top, he had no idea that it would arrive long enough to be worn as a dress, There is no way of being able to tuck a top that long into a pair of pants. Our only advice to him is to send it back and get a credit.

A Bowld Look

Haircuts can do so much to alter one’s appearance. They can either make you super cool or make you look like the biggest dork in the world. We aren’t 100 percent sure, but we are assuming he didn’t ask to get his haircut like that. On the off chance that he did, uh, all we can say to him is looks great!!! *wink- wink nudge- nudge*.

If, as we are sure, that wasn’t the look he was going for, then he should get a refund or at least a free haircut. Although we think that might be a terrible idea. Perhaps stay at home until it grows back? His sad face says it all. Maybe he can experiment with different caps and hats in the meantime.

One Cup Of Deadly Virus, Coming Up!

Ebola is a deadly virus that originated in West and Central Africa. While it seems to have been successfully contained, we highly doubt that anyone would name their precious child “Ebola”. Sure, it’s unique. But really, though? Who would think of doing that?

This Starbucks barista doesn’t know any different, or maybe, couldn’t hear properly over the noise and decided to improvise. What was your name? Ebola? Sure! That’s a familiar name. The person’s actual name was Alona, and quite frankly, it seems a tad too hard to mix them up, no?

Poor Dog Gets A Trim

We love our dogs, but sometimes when they get a little scruffy-looking, its time to head to the groomer — maintaining proper doggie grooming is just as important as your own. So when this little guy got too matted, it was time for a dog salon day.

And boy, for this poor pup, it was a terrible idea. He looked way better before. He looks so miserable. At least hair grows back, so a few weeks of looking like a freakish puppy, and then he will be back to full cuteness.

Hold The Cheese

Pizza! Everyone loves pizza, in all its delicious bready, cheesy, saucy glory. And while we all have our favorite toppings, it’s safe to say that the most important ingredient is cheese. Sometimes, you don’t need to add gourmet toppings, but the cheese is a must!

So imagine this poor guy’s disappointment when he opened his pizza box to discover a pie smothered only in tomato paste. Not only were there no added toppings, but there was no cheese. None! Who does that? Looking at this bare pie is like staring into the face of evil incarnate.

Don’t Cake It Literally

Everyone loves cake! There are very few who don’t, and we don’t like to associate with those people. Well, for those who do love cake, it sure is nice to receive one on special occasions, which is why when the bakery messes it up, it can be really annoying.

We are guessing that the customer was ordering a cake for someone called Adam, and the instruction to the baker was to put blue flowers on the cake, and not to write “with blue flowers” on the cake! Talk about embarrassing cake fails!

Pretty In Pink

In the pink of health is a cute saying to wish someone well, but none of us mean it in the literal sense. This poor gal probably decided to try a new skincare product and ended up looking like a flamingo!

Let’s hope she gets a refund and assistance in getting rid of her fluorescent pink skin. Imagine the embarrassment of having to go back to the store and explain why you want a refund while everyone else is wondering what happened.

10 in 1?

This particular image has got us wondering, and a bit conflicted actually. Does this really deserve to be refunded? It’s a super long Cheeto, which kind of seems like a bargain to us. We think that maybe super long Cheetos should be produced like that.

Was that the only Cheeto in the bag? Some may argue and say that that large Cheeto is like 10 Cheetos in 1, which we suppose is true. And unless that was the only one in the bag, we fail to see the issue?

The Taco Scam

This picture is all kinds of baffling. At first glance, you can see that it’s a piece of wrapping left inside the middle of the taco. But then you look closer, and the whole thing starts looking wrong — not to mention the weird orange color.

Lucky for the customer that they hadn’t bitten into it yet. We would suggest asking for a new taco, but on second thoughts, maybe its best to be refunded, and get another taco from somewhere else. Everything about this just oozes of sloppy, and we don’t want to eat there.

The Irony

Tattoos can be awesome. Some people get them to symbolize going through a challenging time in life; others pay tribute to loved ones. But in all cases, one thing is for sure: there is no way of correcting a mistake once it’s finished.

This woman probably got this tattoo as a reminder to stay strong no matter what. But the irony here is that she’s going to need to take that same advice to deal with getting a misspelled tattoo. Stay strong, Karen; you can get through this.

The Truth About Cinderella’s Shoe

This is absolutely shocking in every sense. Who in their right mind would want to be served food out of a shoe? There might be a few people who like that sort of thing, but they are in the minority for sure.

Since when did plates go out of fashion? We have seen a lot of trends come and go, and we will be happy never to have to see food in a shoe again. We can only hope that it was clean. Yuck!

No Pineapples For You!

Sometimes, people can have the absolute weirdest taste when it comes to food. And few subjects could be more divisive than pizza toppings. Pineapple slices on pizza are considered one of the controversial toppings that you either love or hate.

Sadly, the person who disagreed with her choice of toppings was the chef making her pizza, and her desire for pineapple was not going to happen on his watch. He refused to add it and gave her cash back instead. What happened to ‘the customer is always right’?

Bowler Head

When men get their hair cut, it has to look good right away, as there are very few ways to cover a bad haircut other than with a hat. Women can use slides, scarves, and various other forms of camouflage.

This poor kid came in for a basic haircut, but ended up looking like someone had used a bowl and cut around the edge of it. His bangs need to be straightened out when they finally grow out a bit, and it was just a bad job done. Hang in there kid. You are young, and it will be better by the time you are ready for high school.

Apple or Apple?

Who wouldn’t want to own an Apple Smartwatch? They are handy and super cool, but they are also a tad expensive for the average person to afford. So when this man saw one advertised online for $6, he jumped at the chance and ordered without thinking.

No surprise that what came in the mail was a cheap watch with an Apple logo on it. Shocking! We like the color scheme of the timepiece, at least. But come on, we all knew how that was going to end- let’s say it together…. SCAM!!

Always Give Up

All these tattoo fails make us never want to get inked. This guy clearly wanted something to remind of his struggles in life, and from the look of his toned bicep, we can safely assume that he might be a fighter.

That’s why the message tattoo on his arm is so ironic that it’s hilarious. Loosely translated, he basically tattooed ‘always give up’ on his arm. Maybe he could request for a design to be filled in over the “never” – at least it kind of makes sense then.

Don’t Mug Yourself

You know when you see something, and you think, “I hope the product looks exactly like it’s advertised”? Well, this person might be the only person who got exactly what he paid for. Sure, he wasted some cash, but what a fun little surprise nonetheless.

See, the person who made the mug decided to take the instruction a bit too literally by printing the actual instruction on the cup. There is nothing for us to say about this except that it’s the first time we have ever seen anything like this, and we mean ever!

Carrie’s Prom

Prom is a happy occasion, and getting the right dress is vital. This girl decided to purchase a stunning red dress that looked like it belonged on a runway, but what came to her mailbox was nothing short of a complete monstrosity.

The dress that arrived looked nothing like the image and instead looked like a cross between a lobster Halloween costume and Little Red Riding Hood. Yikes…Not a good look for a school dance. We can only hope that she had time to find a nicer dress to wear to prom.

Technically, It Isn’t Wrong?

Buying and selling anything online can be risky, as we have said before. You pay for something and pray that what you get is what you wanted. We can only wonder what this person thought he was going to get in the mail when they ordered 50 Shades of Grey.

Well, there are no words for this, except to say that technically- they got 50 shades of grey. Without knowing what the ad was promoting, it seems that the purchase was fulfilled in a odd kind of way. At least we know the seller had a sense of humor, even if he is a crook.

Shattered Love Pizza

Pizza is the holy grail of fast food. Plus, it’s healthy! (no, we are lying; it mostly isn’t) and you can eat it without having to worry too much about gaining those pounds (this is another lie; we’ll stop now). However, when you order a pizza, you’re expecting hot cheesy goodness that has been cooked to perfection.

Well, the person who this sad pizza was delivered to was anything but impressed with these burned offerings. We wish them condolences for their crushed hope and dreams of the perfect pie. That pizza company ought to give them a free pizza! One of the zero fat healthy ones!

Lettuce Sandwich

What you see is what you get, and this can’t be truer than this awful sandwich. Imagine being super hungry and only getting a half hour to grab something to eat. You walk into the store and think, “Hey! That chicken salad sandwich looks delish, that’ll do!”

So, you buy it and realize that you were wholly fooled into purchasing a lettuce sandwich minus the chicken one instead. Hopefully, that guy demanded a refund! That’s just false advertising. The guy was promised chicken! Meanwhile, vegetarians everywhere are sipping their tea and having a chuckle.

Spoiler Alert

Sadly, when this woman purchased this book, the cover already had the ending drawn on it! How disappointing! Having a child allows you to be like a kid yourself, by reliving experiences through the eyes of a child, like when your kid discovers their belly button for the very first time.

So when it comes to reading books to their kids, this story should have led up to the big reveal slowly, building a bit of suspense, creating some wonder and thought, not by putting the answer right there on the book cover. Better luck reading where is baby’s ear next time.

Ragged Looking Dress

Ugh! This shopping fail is just so frustrating. There could be few feelings worse than seeing an outfit you want at a fantastic price, and waiting excitedly for its arrival, only to find that it is a cheap knock-off of a designer dress.

Now that would be one website we would never visit again. Leaving a bad review would also be perfectly understandable and justified if this is the dress that arrived in the mail. How do companies think they can get away with this on a long term basis? Fool us once, and once only!

Knitted clothing is right on-trend, comfy, and breathable for hot summer days. We can guess this stylish top was intended to be worn over a bikini, and it looks like a perfect accessory for any beach holiday. So this girl decided to buy one for her next vacation.

Sadly, the item of clothing that arrived left a lot to be desired; she could barely get it to fit her cat, let alone herself. This item is definitely not a one-size-fits-all success story. Girl, you need to get a refund.
