Don't Sell My Personal Information
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This page is provided for consumers who have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (“CCPA”) and similar US state privacy laws that grant a right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (including certain advertising disclosures).
1. Notice of right to opt out
travelerdoor.com (travelerdoor) offers free articles supported in part by advertising and related measurement. Under some state laws, allowing advertising or analytics partners to receive identifiers (such as cookie IDs, IP address, or pixel events) to build or augment profiles for cross-context behavioral advertising can qualify as a “sale” or “sharing,” even when no money is paid for your data.
You may opt out of such sale/sharing as described below.
2. Categories that may be disclosed
Depending on your visit and consent settings, we and our partners may process identifiers, internet/network activity, coarse location (from IP), and inference data related to ad interactions. Details appear in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
3. Opt out on this Site (this browser)
Use the button below to store an opt-out preference cookie in this browser. You may also email contact@travelerdoor.com.

4. Industry opt-out tools
Because many partners participate in industry programs, these tools are often the most reliable way to opt out across advertisers:
- Web: DAA WebChoices
- EU interest-based ads: Your Online Choices
- Mobile: device settings such as “Limit Ad Tracking” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization”
Opt-outs are usually device/browser-specific. Clearing cookies may remove an opt-out cookie so you may need to opt out again.
5. What opting out does — and does not — do
After a valid opt-out, we will not sell/share personal information as those terms are defined under applicable law for covered purposes, subject to verification limits for anonymous traffic. We may still:
- Process information needed to operate the Site securely
- Serve contextual advertising that does not constitute a sale/share under applicable law
- Perform measurement/attribution that is exempt or permitted after opt-out under applicable law
6. Authorized agents and verification
If an authorized agent submits a request on your behalf, we may require proof of authorization and may still need to verify your identity. Email contact@travelerdoor.com.
7. Other rights
California and other state residents may also have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information. Submit requests to contact@travelerdoor.com. See the full Privacy Policy.
