When artists get in the zone, they really get in the zone. It’s as if they’re in their own little world where no one and nothing else exists. We guess this is a pretty easy mistake to make. If they don’t even notice what’s happening around them, how can they even tell which cup is which?

We guess there is a good lesson to learn here, though. If you want to take a sip of warm, tasty tea instead of murky paint water, you have to have a clear distinction between your coffee mug and your paint mug. 

When Your Fridge Decides To Take A Night Off

The fridge is one of those appliances that can’t take a break in the household, or else you’d be dealing with rotten food, stinky meats, and wilted vegetables. And, of course, no one wants that but sometimes, things like this happen. 

We know it’s our responsibility to make sure the temperature is just right and all that but honestly, this just seems so unfair. We spend all this time making sure our fridges actually have something in them and then they pull this? Sorry but that’s just a huge bummer.

Sadly, this person’s can opener right here gave up when they were halfway through. And we don’t know but it’s sad how much we can relate to it. This is exactly how we feel getting through the week most of the time.

Puzzles are one of the most satisfying things in life to complete. The feeling of putting that final piece into its slot is almost spiritual. Not getting to do that after all the labor you went through with all the other pieces is just devastating. 

It’s painful to have the final piece go missing but imagine having several pieces go missing. It’s ten times the misery. Now, you won’t just have one slot reminding you of some kind of failure but a whole bunch of slots that will forever haunt your dreams. 

At Least They Tried

We love it when people treat their partners like the queens they are and do something special for them, like cooking their favorite meals and things like that, just as this girl probably intended to do. Unfortunately, it seems the world had other plans. 

The saddest thing about this is it seems like she was already home. Right when she was so close to putting that nice little treat for her girlfriend together, the world decided to give her a little test. At least she knows she tried her best, right?

Sometimes, we have to wonder if Mother Nature hits back consciously. It still hurts to feel just how angry she is at us for using up a lot of her resources. However, you can also see things in a more positive light. At least he wasn’t in the car.

It would have felt a little better if it was only a branch that cracked the windshield but this looks like the tree did a whole freaking wrestling move on that poor vehicle. There is simply nothing to be saved here.

Whenever we see super-cheap items online, we’re always tempted to order them right away. After all, who doesn’t want a good deal where you can save a lot of money, right? Unfortunately, not everything cheap is worth even the shipping cost. 

This dad, unfortunately, was a little too order happy. While he didn’t get the actual drill, he did get a laminated poster of it, which he can hang in his workshop as some kind of manifestation for the actual item he wants. 

When You Just Can’t Win In Life

We know that a lot of arcade games are rigged, right? They’re simply programmed not to let you win and only to get you addicted to trying to win. That’s why winning feels miraculous. Now, imagine the disappointment this person felt. 

The world must really have something against them, or they might really have the worst luck in the world. Just look at how close they are to winning that Mickey Mouse. It’s barely hanging on, but it still chose not to let them win. 

Those Strings Can Burn

We think we can speak on behalf of everyone when we say that those strings and their ability to wiggle out of jackets, sweatpants, or anything that has them with the smallest amount of tossing around are the most annoying things on Earth. 

It’s like they’re made without even the least resistance to getting out of their holes. It’s like they’re made simply for us to slave over getting them back in. The most frustrating thing is we know that the first time they come undone will definitely not be the last no matter what we do.

There is just absolutely nothing to hate about Pop-Tarts if you ask us. They are sweet, they are delicious, they come in a variety of flavors, they remind us of our childhood, and everything about them just makes us feel good. 

The best part about them though is the frosting. Without it, a Pop-Tart is nothing. That’s why when we saw how they halved the frosting on these Pop-Tarts, we became so sad. With everything we have to deal with every day, we deserve our frosting. 

There’s Nothing Fun In Getting Mauled By The Wild Thank You Very Much

The outdoors is a beautiful place and it is full of adventure and experiences that we will never get within the four walls of our home. Unfortunately, it’s also filled with teeth, claws, poison, and so much more things that can, you know, kill us. 

We admire people who are brave enough to try and be one with nature and enjoy all that it has to offer out in the wild but we don’t really appreciate waking up face to face with things that can eat us. 

Were They Aiming To Make A Cocoa Fountain?

On cold, chilly nights where we just want to feel nice and cozy, a nice, sweet cup of cocoa is just the way to go. Add some marshmallows on top and set yourself up with a great film and you’re in cozy heaven. Sadly, for this person, it seems like they just gave themselves a lot of cleaning up to do. 

This is probably the best way to ruin a perfectly planned night that they’ve probably been waiting to have for a while. If it were us, we’d probably sprinkle in a little stress sobbing while mopping up all that spilled cocoa. 

When You Discover You’re Living With An Actual Monster

We know cheese is delicious. We also know that some people’s love for it goes beyond normal love for things. Just like this person’s brother. When she discovered he only stole the cheese packet and left the pasta behind, she realized she was living with an actual cheese monster.

Honestly, we can understand the cheese love but why in the world would they choose to just eat that powdered sugary cheese thing instead of enjoying it with noods? It’s still going to be cheesy. Or maybe he just really wanted the unwatered-down version of it? 

Creek Treasure Hunting

As nasty as creeks are, a lot of them actually have a lot of hidden treasures under the water. Someone just has to slip once or lose their grip a bit and you’ll have keys, rings, money, and even phones falling like rain. Just take a look at where this phone ended up in. 

We’re pretty sure whoever dropped this had a very bad day when they lost it. Who wouldn’t? We would be panicking and grieving all day long for our lost companion if it were us. Hopefully, they had everything backed up though. 

Snap, Snap, And Away

Working on intricate tiny models takes hours and hours of hard work and the patience of a saint. The last thing anyone would want is for it to come toppling down. Unfortunately for this person, that is exactly what happened. 

The worst part is he was so near the finish line. Just a few more last details and his tiny house would have made it. If it were us at that point, we’d just smash the whole thing with our bare hands. It wouldn’t help but it would make us feel sort of better. 

So Close It Hurts

If you’re going to drive a delivery truck, it would be best to know your route quite well, or at least know how to use a GPS. As it seems, whoever delivered this TV did get some of those things right. It’s just that they got one of the most important things wrong. 

It would have been alright if they got the wrong building or street but they freaking messed up the entire town. Not only that, they left a freaking fragile item out for the weather to ruin. How much more did they not want this TV’s owner to have that TV?

When Your Lemon Squeezer Can’t Squeeze Out Enough Will To Live

Lemon squeezers are really helpful. They help get all that juice out without it getting all over your hands. Plus, they avoid getting all those seeds into your food. Sadly, there also comes a time when they get tired of doing the work we can do with our bare hands. 

This one, in particular, looks like it just gave up. It didn’t even make it to squeeze one last lemon before snapping in half. At least, a lesson is learned. Next time, if you can do it with your hands, just do it with your hands. 

Cut It Too Late

Unless your dog is the best boy or girl in the world, taking a cute picture of them can be quite a challenge. This guy managed to get quite the shot of his dog playing in the snow. Sadly, he didn’t quite get the head in the frame. 

It’s too bad since you don’t get to get shots like this every day. You’d have to wait so long to get another chance like it ever again. Maybe he can get a picture of his dog’s head and photoshop it in somehow?

Never Trust Your Oven Ever Again

This poor pizza right here just hurts our hearts. It looks like it has been through all seven levels of hell and back. Just look at all that wasted meaty goodness and tomatoey delight. It’s all just gone and can never be fixed. 

We also feel so sorry for this person who has been waiting for that pizza all week. They should never have trusted their oven. Instead, they should have just put their trust in Domino’s or some other pizza place with great service. 

Killing Two Mugs With One Stone

Sometimes, we love our automatic self-defense mechanisms. It saves us a lot in small everyday disasters. Unfortunately, they can also lead us to cause disaster. Just take a look at this woman who broke two precious mugs when she was only trying to save one. 

It would have been better if she just let one fall. At least then, she would still have one of their precious mugs safe and sound. Her instincts just had to play hero though. Now, they have two broken cups. 

Surely, There’s Another Way To Deliver Packages, Right?

We’ve all heard of delivery people not really taking care of packages and delivering it destroyed and useless. So now, every time we order something online, we pray that our orders arrive safely as if it was a loved one. Sadly, it seems like this person’s prayers weren’t answered. 

We’re pretty sure this home has a proper front door and a proper way to get in through their gate. And we’re pretty sure it wasn’t absolutely necessary to throw that package over their wall. We just hope whoever’s receiving that package has some goodwill in them. 

They Got Away Fast

Yes, you have the same blood flowing in your veins but a lot of the time, siblings can just be the worst. They take your things without asking, call you names, get your parents angry at you, tell on you, and so much more. This is another pretty good example of how annoying they can be. 

This person just wanted to be a good sibling by lending them their stuff but how did it end up? Absolutely destroyed. It would have been better if the sibling just told them it got ruined but nope. They acted like nothing happened so they could get away in time. 

Guess They’ll Just Have To Find A Way To Make Sauceless Pasta

Getting ingredients delivered is quite a way to save yourself some trouble and, of course, a bit of time. When you do get deliveries though, you have to accept that there is a chance it might arrive in not the best conditions like this one. 

Those sauces look good. It’s a shame they’re all over the carton and not on a bowl of pasta. We’re guessing they’re having dry pasta for dinner or simply none at all. Either way, lesson learned. Just get your sauce on your own. 

When You Just Wanted To Do The Right Thing 

We all know that masks are the norm nowadays, and we’re pretty much used to it. However, we have to admit, it is one of the most frustrating things that have been added to our everyday lives. They’re like this necessary evil we have to endure. 

From the heat and mouth sweat to “maskne” and pain behind our ears, these masks keep turning up new ways to cause us a bit of nuisance. This poor guy found that his mask doesn’t really get along with his AirPods. RIP to it. 

Not Going To Be So Eggstatic About Eggs Next Time

We all know that eggs, if not eaten, can rot just like anything else, right? That little blob in the yolk turns into this thing with feathers and claws. Still, it’s a little traumatizing seeing it in the flesh. 

We completely get why this person would be turned off from eggs for some time. Seeing something like doesn’t only make us a little queasy but it also kind of makes us feel guilty for all the eggs we’ve eaten. Those poor chicks but then again, eggs are delicious!

Salt Bae Will Be Disappointed

Nothing compares to the feeling of getting some homemade meals back into our systems after months of being dependent on UberEats and Postmates. Sadly for this person, their attempt has been ruined by, of all things, a cheap salt grinder. 

This is exactly why we don’t trust those things to put on salt on our food. You’ll never know if it’ll just give you a few crumbs or a whole mountain of salt. We’d rather trust the good old-fashioned way of scooping it up with our fingers. 

When You Want To Cry While Watching Some TV

It’s strange but a lot of us love those tear-jerker movies that can make us ugly cry as if someone hurt us really bad. Maybe we just love crying. Do you know what else can make us bawl, though? It’s this. 

If this were our TV, a fresh wave of frustration, guilt, and misery would wash over us every time we glimpse this TV. Just looking at it now makes our eyes and hearts hurt. How could anyone ever enjoy watching anything on that?

Frozen Food For Dinner It Is

There is always a certain excitement when you cook roast meat. After all the prep, you wait for such a long time to get it just right. That’s why this scene is just so sad. Look at all that wasted meat and effort. 

Let’s just hope they have some kind of frozen or boxed meal hiding somewhere in their freezer or cupboard. It certainly doesn’t compare to roast and it might not make them feel any better but at least they can’t mess that up too badly. 

The Look Of Absolute Defeat

We know this look too well. This is the look of absolute defeat. Just when she probably thought she had done a good job, something came along and ruins the product of her sweat and effort. We’ve all been through that at some point, right?

If it were us, we’d be in the exact same position. There’s just nothing that can be done to salvage the meal. All we can do is grieve for it, pick ourselves back up, and clean it up because no one’s going to fix our mess but us. 

Birthday Doughnuts Aint So Bad

During this pandemic, a lot of celebrations had to be stalled or at least downgraded. That includes birthdays especially since a lot of specialty services had to be stopped because of restrictions. This person felt the brunt of all that. 

While there is absolutely nothing wrong with going for doughnuts on your birthday, there is something a little disappointing about not getting those full-on birthday treats. At least they stayed safe though. Plus, there are worse things to celebrate your birthday with. 

Bye Bye Goes The Outlet

Other than taking every precaution not to get electrocuted, one of the biggest rules when it comes to charging or plugging in any appliance is to not mess with the outlet. It is not exactly the easiest thing to fix. 

This is the thing with sockets. You don’t just pull cords and expect them to stretch or expect the outlet to stay put because one or the other will give in. Sadly, this person wil have to have this one completely redone.

When Your Car Is Just Falling Apart For No Reason

Everyone has one or two experiences of how their car failed them in the worst possible time. This is exactly one of those instances. And in this case, the world seems like it just didn’t really want this person to get home. 

The worst part about all this is that the spare tire has already been used probably due to another unnecessary accident. Let’s just hope they have good cell reception or they’re at least in a part of the road that is well-traveled. 

At Least There’s Very Little Possibility They’ll Choke On The Mat

There’s just really nothing that compares to the love between couples that have lasted all the way to old age. Theirs is just a different level of sweet. Just look at how this grandma did her best to bake her husband a birthday cake. 

It would have been absolutely perfect without the oven mat underneath but it is the thought and effort that counts. They were probably still able enjoy that delicious cake anyway. It’s not like they’re going to choke on parts anyway. 

The Wind Thought The Table Was Tacky

Some days, you think things like the wind can’t wreck your home but then some days, it unleashes its full power and this kind of thing happens. The wind right here decided it didn’t like this person’s table and just simply smashed it. 

We can almost hear that painfully loud crash and almost see it falling to the ground and shattering to smithereens. Let’s just hope they find a new use for that remaining table frame. And let’s just hope nobody mistakes that empty space for extra clear glass and tries to put anything on it. 

Maybe A Little Too Cold

We all know that room temperature soda is just not the way to go. You have to have it nice and chilled up until the point that it has that thin film of chill on the outside to make it into the delicious and refreshing drink that we all enjoy. 

This guy was on the right track. It’s just that he wasn’t careful enough and left it in too long. He might have saved it by making soda slush but it was just a little too late for anything to be done. 

They Should Have Tried Applying A Bit Of What They Learned To All That Reviewing

Studying can be quite stressful. And with something like psychology, there are all these complicated things you have to memorize as well as comprehend so we understand if students can become uber stressed. This is a whole different level of stress, though. 

This student must have been under a lot of stress and pressure that their handwriting went through to the table. We’re surprised the paper they wrote on even survived after this onslaught. We hope they got the grade they worked hard for. 

Row, Row – And Flip

We can only imagine that handling canal boats aren’t the easiest job in the world so our hearts go out to whoever is in this mess and who would be tasked to fix it. It would have been such a nice day if only the floodwaters didn’t turn this boat upside down. 

The most frustrating part of all this is that the main problem, the flood, is already going away. Sadly, it decided to cause just a little bit more damage before fully going its way. Also, with just a glance at the forecast, they might have avoided this situation. 

It’s Just Dirt Dirt And More Dirt

Moms have one of the toughest jobs in the world and that is taking care of human beings and making sure that they grow up to be decent members of society. That’s why we always feel bad for them. They always seem to have so much on their plates. 

This mom just asked her kids the very simple task of putting their snow clothes in the dryer. Although it’s one less task for her, she might have forgotten to take into account the amount of dirt that would be leftover once all the snow was gone. Now, she’s left with another job to do.

It’s the last piece! After all that trouble, you discover you’re missing just one piece and you’ll forever be haunted by that little black hole. It just hurts! If that were us, we won’t be able to trust any dark corner of the house anymore.
