Pitkin County in Colorado has a population of 17,767 people. The average life expectancy rate in the county is 93.4. The population health score in the area is 90.9. 

2.   Mono County 

Mono County in California has a population of around 14,500. The average lifespan in the county is 96.5. The population health score in the region is 81.8. The county ranks 129 in the overall list of 3,000 counties that are in the Healthiest Communities rankings. 

3.   Summit County 

Summit County is in Colorado. The population in the county is over 30,000. The average life expectancy rate is 96.8 in the region. The population health score is 85.2. The overall rank of the county is 26 on the list. Summit County has an overall score of 83.1.

4.   San Miguel County

San Miguel County is also in Colorado. The life expectancy in the region is above 100. The overall rank of the county in the entire US is sixth. The health score of the population is 82.6.
